The Full English Breakfast Box
A proper British breakfast made by America’s leading British butcher, delivered nationwide.
The only supplier we will work with
It is not often that I write a letter to recommend a butcher.
For years our American Fellows have written to us with the same complaint, that there is no proper English breakfast to be had in America. Not the real one. Not the kind they grew up eating. They have asked, repeatedly, whether the Society can recommend anyone, and the honest answer for a long time was that we could not. The Society turns most enquiries down, and the standard is set high for a reason.
That changed when I came across Jolly Posh of Chicago, run by a butcher named Nick Spencer. Nick’s promise is that British food should taste like British food, on whichever side of the Atlantic it is being served. They passed our test. The bangers are made the proper way. The back bacon is cut from the loin, as it should be. The black pudding is the real thing. Nothing about what Nick and his team make has been compromised to suit an American palate, and that is not a small thing to be able to say in this country.
So if you are a British expat who has missed a proper fry-up, or an American who has heard the fuss and wants to know what it is about, this is the box. It is, in their own words, a true taste of home.
We are proud to put the Society’s name behind it.
